I agree, the best medical weight loss pill out on the market. What made me feel safe was knowing its been around, FDA approved for 60 years. I’ve been on duromine for a month and a half now and already reached my goal of 135. I lost a total of 20 pounds! I recommend to anyone wanting to lose weight fast.

  2. Elizabeth says:

Today has marked my one month of taking the duromine. Only side effect I have had so far is dry mouth and a hot flash about 30 minutes after taking the medicine. I have gone from 204lbs to 184lbs. I still eat what I want just no sweets and only water combined with 25 mins of elliptical and 20 minutes of treadmill at 3 speed at least 3 times a week. I have lost 3 inches off my waist but I’m hip measurements are still the same and I lost 2 inches combined off my thighs. Love this medicine.

Elizabeth! Looks like you found something that works great for you! If you want to enhance the weight loss results in your volumes, you should add some strength exercises, as these help increase the muscle mass, which, in turn, is beneficial for higher calories burning rate.

  3. Patricia says:

I am now taking Duromine. I have lost 15 pounds in a month, a long with a food plan and light exercising, I should be to my goal by summertime.

    • Rita says:

Patricia, congratulations on your weight loss. Remember to keep it consistent and aim lifestyle changes, so that you can maintain your weight after you finish the course.

  4. Linda says:

I have been using duromine for 6 wks almost 7 and I have lost 28 pds. My starting weight was 212lbs. I am now 184lbs. My goal is to be 150lbs. Only exercising a couple days a wk. Hope to be there soon! I am not hungry, I eat because I have to. The only side effect I have is dry mouth so far.

    • Rita says:

Linda, as your weight goes down, you can allow yourself introducing more physical activity. It doesn’t have to be something incredibly tough. You can take long walks or dance like nobody’s watching, when you have such a possibility.
PS. Well done on that weight loss! =)

  5. Robert says:

It would be nice if the public was warned of how dangerous it is to have any surgery while taking this medication! I was scheduled to have knee surgery, and forgot to list this as a medicine until I was telling the pre-op nurse my meds. She then went postal on me! Informing me that if I wasn’t off of it for 2 weeks before surgery, I could possibly die from high blood pressure. What an eye opener!

    • Rita says:

Robert, thank you SO MUCH for raising this issue. Yes! Many people do not inform their doctor about being on Duromine. It all has to do with the drug interactions. These can be quite dangerous, so you definitely need to tell about it, if you have a scheduled or emergency surgery. Doctors can take measures to help your body get rid of it in case of emergency, and you should stop taking it before any serious intervention for sure.

  6. Jennifer says:

I have been on duromine for a week exactly today along with taking furosemide which helps in water reduction. The first day I took it I felt a little wired, jittery but it went away. Since then I have been fine. No insomnia at all. I take both pills in the morning (latest is 11am if I am off for the day). I did notice that not all my hunger was completely subsided. I would get hungry here and there. I stick to a 1200 cal diet and exercise. I’ve lost 10lbs in this first week. I also drank on new years eve and was fine!

    • Rita says:

Jennifer, did your doctor approve such combined use of these two drugs? You probably need to increase your water intake to avoid any possible adverse events. Better consult with your doctor, if no recommendations were provided in this respect. It is a normal thing that you still get hungry at times. Duromine can either cut your hunger completely or leave the hunger but help you feel full from small amounts of food. Heaps of luck to you!
PS. Better avoid alcohol, especially that furosemide, just like alcohol, makes your body “dry out”, while Duromine needs plenty of water…

  7. Betty says:

I love, love, love this medicine. I weighed 146lbs last month, I now weigh 127lbs and counting. I’m getting married in a month and this has so saved me. I would say try it if you haven’t already because everyone I know wants it now they see how it worked for me so fast.

    • Rita says:

Oh wow! That is a fantastic result Betty! I am sure that you will look fantastic in your dress! Have a lovely wedding and a happy marriage!

  8. Karen says:

Taking this medication had extremely positive side effects that not only helped in losing 30 lbs but also gave me energy, decreased my symptoms associated with fibromylgia, and reduced my fixation on food. (It is my wonder pill).

    • Rita says:

Hi Karen. Thank you very much for sharing your story. Indeed, it seems that Duromine became a miracle pill for you. So many issues addressed and such a serious weight loss. I am sure, however, that you also invested a lot of effort in achieving this result. Well done.

  9. Barbara says:

I been on this pill for a week today and have lost 5 pounds. I think is great I just want time to go faster. 45lbs more to go.

  10. Susan says:

My husband and I were on duromine for 3 months before I got pregnant with our son. I had to quit taking it of course. However, our first month I lost 18lbs and my husband lost 29! In the 3 months we were on it we lost a total of 105lbs! It is definetly the best diet pill ever. The only thing I didn’t like was that my mouth was always dry. I couldn’t go anywhere without a bottle of water in my hand.

    • Rita says:

Susan, what an amazing success story of a family weight loss! You can easily say that you lost one person. =) But you actually gained one person. Congrats with your pregnancy and of course this amazing weight loss. Stay fit and healthy! Really happy that you had such a positive experience with Duromine.

  11. Michael says:

I have been on it for 3 months now and I lost 44 lbs so far. It makes you eat smaller portions if you try to eat more your stomach will hurt. I’m sweaty and dry mouth all the time which makes me drink more water. I still eat what I want but I try and stay away from soda and sweats much as possible.

    • Rita says:

Michael, hi. Thank you for sharing your experience with Duromine. Congratulations on your amazing weight loss. Sounds like Duromine provided you with a great appetite suppression. And you managed to take the best of it and stay cautious of what you let into your body. Now you need to focus on keeping the good habits and maintaining your weight. Best of luck!

  12. Margaret says:

Hi everyone I wanted to share my experience with the duromine pill. I love it! 01/29/14 weighed 200lbs now 02/10/14 I weigh 196lbs! Almost unbelievable I was a strong believer that this was a scam that you could not lose 10 lbs in a week but I think that if you try everything is possible, take me as an example. Continuing the pill until I reach my goal 140lbs. Good Luck.

    • Rita says:

Hello Margaret! Way to go with this positive attitude of yours! Keep up the good work, and still you should not forget that you should not take Duromine longer than 3 months, after which you need to have a 1-2-month break, depends on what your doctor says. So, if you don’t reach your goal of 140 lbs, you might need to get on a second course or try to keep losing weight without Duromine. Good luсk!

  13. Dorothy says:

I cut all carbs out of my diet and lost approximately 10 lbs in about 2 weeks. I then started taking duromine and lost another 26 lbs in 2 months. I exercise daily about an hour and still do not eat carbs. Mostly eat fish, chicken, eggs, fruits and vegetables. I am within 5 lbs of my goal weight now.

    • Rita says:

Hi Dorothy! You have an amazing dedication to what you do, and sounds like high-protein nutrition plan works really nice for you. Congrats on your weight loss – it’s super great – and make sure to check your kidney function when you finish the course. Higher inflow of proteins might be hard on the kidneys. Take care

  14. Nancy says:

I have been on duromine for 3 days. I have lost 7 pounds. HIGHLY due to the fact that I haven’t eaten much of anything. I have walked everyday for 30 min a day. I take the pill when I wake. I have had a headache everyday about 3 or 4pm. I believe its because I am not taking in enough calories. I am also taking birth control and a women’s multivitamin.

    • Rita says:

Nancy, hi! With all the desire to congratulate you on our weight loss, this message is more of a warning nature. You should NOT starve on Duromine. Sufficient nutrition and hydration are among the main measures to lose weight while on Duromine. You should eat, yet make sure that you consume healthy foods in small portions. Have 3 main meals and 1-3 snacks, depending on the length of your day. And yes, your headaches can be caused by insufficient body fueling with both liquids and food. Be careful and limit yourself with reasonable limits. Stay healthy and have a successful weight loss.

  15. Lisa says:

This is a very good method for weight loss. I actually loss 43lbs using this pill along with exercise. It really gives you energy. This is really my 3rd time on this pill. But once your body gets used to it it does not work as well. But overall I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to lose weight.

    • Rita says:

Thank you Lisa for sharing your success story on Duromine. I wish you to be able to maintain your weight and stay on the healthy side!

  16. James says:

I have been on duromine exactly a week today and have lost 6lbs! I go to the gym 5 times a week for 45 min to an hour. Only side effect is dry mouth. I want to lose 25 more lbs so I’m sure I’ll be at my goal by summer.
